SACRED HEART SHRINE

Nearby, in a niche of the side aisle, is a winsome sculpture of the Sacred Heart by Frank Aretz. Over the statue is a picture of Mary Margaret, a Visitation nun, who was instrumental in establishing the nine first Fridays, a devotion to the Sacred Heart. The Visitation nuns have a cloister monastery on Parkside Blvd., Toledo established by Bishop Stritch.
